Stormy Seas brings to mind the deep blue black tones of the Pacific Ocean during a storm.  This complex color has a deep tones of cool brown, pale highlights of lighter blue, hits of teal green and shadows of deep blue-black.  

Images shown on Velvet Fingering and Glitter Fingering.  Due to the nature of hand-dyed yarn, each skein will have variation (more or less pale patches, brown etc), as well as each yarn base will take the dye differently.

Care

Hand wash in cool water, lay flat to dry. Superwash yarns should not felt if washed in the washing machine, but hand-washing will prolong the life of your finished objects.

Tips & Recommendations

  • For large projects, alternate skeins to avoid pooling.
  • Highly saturated colors may bleed slightly when blocked or washed. For high-contrast color combinations in colorwork projects, block your swatch to test for color bleeding.
